What Are the Best Workouts for Base Training?

A lot of base training is just volume, right? Low intensity volume. Maybe a little weight lifting or something like that. And then at some point you've got to start going harder,. Ecause you're trying to get the master. But this is one of those things where, like, if you're on eight hours a week, you're goin to get to eight hours of endurance pace a week pretty quickly. Ah, god, it's like,  you might as well have another, like, two to three months training block and then take a couple weeks easy, and then get into another one.
