The pain of change needs to be seen as less than the pain of staying in the same spot. When you're confident and you understand what you're doing, you don't have a need to try to over convince people. Boring the crap out of your eyes is just using too much, too many words. If you can bring images, bring a short animation, make something move. Try to get your logo to spin around very quietly or something. People are trained to watch 10,000 images in like two, two minutes nowadays.
