The Biomedical Ethics Case Study

The book is about really genuinely sitting in that process of needing to change and struggling with it. It's also an argument that I've heard explicitly or implicitly my whole life as people's ideas about disability are often informed by profoundly limited imagination. What became the catalyst for the book is that I recognized that in the moment when he was saying this deeply dehumanizing thing about me and my body or other bodies like mine, that I was retreating from the moment.
