The Regression of Bad Ideas

I think that there appears to be, you know, people are having fights on multiple fronts. The tension that is being experienced is why is the momentum with bad ideas? I just want to maybe get into some of those things that we all, it feels like are the defining issues of our time,. But in some ways they're almost like litter or pollution from something else.
