Between 1884 and 1885 in Austin, Texas, some were murdered eight people. Several were lobotomized and then killed with a knife or an axe. White reporters paid little attention because the murders only affected a disenfranchised group who were marginalized to begin with. The hunt for the Servant Girl Annihilator began complete with bloodhounds.
