Neil Patrick Harris: What did you read in 2022 that stood out? One must always spend more time reading than writing. I can't talk about my reading experience in 2022 without talking about Thomas Hardy. These books gave me enormous amounts of solace, they're extraordinarily beautifully written. He also understood something about history, which is really important.
