Is It Better to Give More Autonomy in Times of Uncertainty

People are happy when given more control than they expected, but really unhappy when that control is taken away. We're just giving people a little bit of autonomy ends up being really, surprisingly powerful for productivity, engagement, performance and this kind of thing. But it's time to continue to find ways to give people a little more control over their own lives. That's one way we can make sure the world doesn't get out of our hands.
