Theology and Religious Practice in a Vacuum

Jared: The Bible has been and always is embedded in culture, encountered in culture. We can't get outside of it. And so I do think we should engage it in ways that say, maybe this is something we need to lean into or over here is something we needs to lean away from. That participation that we are not doing theology and religious practice in a vacuum, but we are always. In a particular culture, and that's okay.
