The Importance of Professionalism
I think that comedies are probably a lot closer to the truth than dramas. I mean, most CIA meetings are probably dreadfully boring and film touch points and circle backs just like I've been around. The most accurate show on television about policing is Barney Miller, which is a comedy. That's like day to day, most people are goofballs, right? That's just the human condition. And you know what I mean? We're not these like, always ultra serious, you know- things. That requires like a culture of professionalism that has to really be imposed. It doesn't happen automatically.
