The Fast Radio Burst

Our theory is that when these binary neutron stars merged, they created what's known as a supermassive neutron star. So neutron stars come in to get so heavy before they collapse into a black hole. If it spins very quickly, the spin can help counteract the gravity. You can actually get maybe an extra 20% of mass on a neutron star if it's spinning very fast. This huge change in magnetic field should induce a strong electric field, which could produce something like a fast radio burst.
