A group of people sat down for lunch in Lee and Gather, Victoria last Saturday. Days later, three of them are dead and a fourth is in a serious condition in hospital. The reason is suspected mushroom poisoning. It's not the only death involving this particular type of mushrooms. In 2012, two people died in Canberra after eating a meal at a New Year's Eve party. And just last year, in New South Wales, there was a spike of hospitalizations of mushroom poisoning.
