The Impact of Race-Based Affirmative Action on Black Students in College
Ian Rol is co-founder of Vertex Partnership Academy's a new network of character-based international baccalaureate high schools in the Bronx. He says stronger families and more school choice have to be part of the story so that our kids can compete on equal footing far before college applications are on the table. Of the approximately 170,000 black students that took the SAT in 2021, only 1% performed between the 1400 and 1600 range.
