The Reformation Was a Recovery of the Biblical Doctrine of Assurance

The Reformation was a recovery of the biblical doctrine of assurance. That's not something that John Calvin or Martin Luther, anybody else came up with. They're getting this from scripture. So it's very clear that if we have been united to the Lord Jesus Christ and presently justified, we will be finally saved. This is the bedrock of assurance.
