The Prime Minister's Decision to Kick the Coms Team Out of Downing Street
When craig and i worked for davy cameron, the largest room in the building was at the back end of of nu 12 downing street. One of the first things that liz trust decided to do as a gesture to her m ps, was to kick the coms team out of downing street altogether. She then moved them into the cabinet office on whitehall. That was the signal she chose to send. And i think we see the consequences of that very foolish, very hubristic, very naive decision in how badly the interviews have gone to day.
