The Parable of the Persistent Wife

Jesus knew that a straightforward explanation wasn't going to be quite enough to keep us praying in the face of silence. He gave us a story to put flesh and bones on it, to sympathize with the very real pain of the human experience. It is distinct among all his other parables in that the punch line is given away right up front.
