What Is Metaphysics?

Everything has being, if it is real it exists as being and if it does then it has a certain unity to it. Metaphysics is a body of knowledge that studies these features of all reality. People who study for example the developmental formation of stars or the psychology of child development might infrequently ask what these things really are but what they study does exist. If there is a transcendent in immaterial reality it is not known about by the study of quantity or through observational sciences. It is known about through metaphysical reflection upon existence.
