The Problem With Rewritten Bible
This is a very, very problematic phrase. There's no intention on the part of the authors of these texts to rewrite anything or even to insert their own works into what would later become tannin. And it's also a bad phrase because I don't know that there is a Bible at this early stage. Well, period into re-written Bible is not a good phrase. What are these texts? These texts, I think, are playful, experimental works of homage, almost like contemporary fan fiction. They fall into all kinds of different literary genres that today we view as separate.
