The Dark Side of Strategic Leaks
There is a general perception and this may be right or wrong that if you are helpful to us, then we will portray whatever firm or company you work at in a better light. I do think there's probably some sense that, hey, if I'm helpful to this reporter, Bloomberg will give me more positive coverage than if I'm not. But on the other hand, I've spent time thinking about this. We're way at the bottom of the food chain, but we are a part of the process.
