The Tiny Mic in the Hand

The tiny mic is the thing that we refer to collectively as the media. Lavalier mics are also known as lavs for short clip-on mics body mics collar mics or lapel mics because when you're miking up some slimy politician for your TV show You can clip the lav right to the lapels of his slimy dark blue politicians suit and Then when you ask him a tough question He'll stand up and try to walk out on the interview really dramatically But then he'll realize that he's still wired up to the mic. And it's just hilarious Lava mics are great for certain things. I'm holding the media in my own hand
