Is There a Future for Carbon Dioxide Removal?

There's a three point five billion dollar commitment in the bi partisan interstructure bill that was passed last year to support carbon dioxide removal. And there is also the d o es carbon negative shot that aims to reduce the cost of c d r to less than 100 dollars per metric ton. Given all of these commitments, i'd like to get your input on what they say about the state of carbon dioxide removal technologies today. I think seeing this early state of investment really it signifies that people are recognizing that we're going to need c d r. That's a hard thing to say,. s that we've come to a place where mitigation is not successful enough to limit climate impacts.
