The highest amount of cheese people ate each day on average was about 1.5 ounces, but in some cases, it was up to three ounces. An ounce is the size of your outstretched thumb, right? So that is not very much cheese. And so if you're thinking about like, oh, this is my excuse to now chow down on an entire block of brie or do like double cheese stuffed crust pizza from pizza hut, they're talking about small amounts and probably higher quality cheeses. But any more than that, and you're getting into the negative impact of cheese research.
