I struggled for years trying to get up at 5am. That was one of my most difficult habits to finally install. And I think the reason I struggled for so much is I read these books on productivity and it showed how all these successful people are early risers, and so you should be an early riser too. But with that framing, I could never get it to stick because I didn't like getting up early. What finally made it stick, especially stick long term, was experimenting with a more playful attitude. Do I like sleeping in late? Do I like how I feel not just about the morning, but about my morning routine? It's almost not fair to judge before you
