Why Businesses Care About Social Impact

Financial institutions have a pretty unique role in the world. They touch thousands and thousands of people within their workforce. And so they've got probably as big or larger an opportunity to have a positive social impact on society is perhaps any other industry. So creating positive impact should be the primary focus. It may not be as profitable in the short term, but it certainly can be in the long term.
