How Did the Romans Move the Obelisks?
In 12 b c, caesar augustus is in charge of the roman empire. Under augustus, these obelisks were brought up to alexandria and set up insid a temple that's devoted to caesar. And this is very interesting, because in all the books and th research that we did for this show, so much of the story is around how to move these really heavy obelisk. We lost a lot of that knowledge, its engineering secrets, right? Gone.
