Johnny Leon denied killing Ted Chaunacie but admitted that the ad traveled to Austin with Nick on February 28th. A confidential informant had tipped off investigators about 21 year old Johnny Leon. He was charged with criminal solicitation of capital murder just like Nick and Jackie. The grand jury later indicted all three for capital murder.
