She Was a Refugee in America
She escaped Czechoslovakia. She went to South Brown. She ended up in America, and she was a stateless refugee. The other thing that she liked about it was its political structures. There was a political freedom in America, which she really felt wasn't there in Europe. But she was very conscious of her status as a refugee.
