Hemingway's Juvenalia

Hemingway was devastated on learning that Hadley had lost a suitcase filled with his manuscripts at the Garda Leon in December of 1922. He he forgave her verbally, but inside he just harbored this. Nearly all of Hemingway's early writing is Juvenalia and apprentice fiction,. including duplicates was lost. "I think it's the best thing he ever wrote," says author Barry Ehrlich who has written several biographies about him.
