In 2018, the majority of offenders were sentenced to immediate custody for child rape offenses. The average sentence for an adult is three years and eight months. Of that four and a half thousand child sexual abusers who did not go to prison, two thousand of them just over got a community sentence. You could have put out an ad which said the Labour Party is going to lock up more child sexual offenders. Fine. But you're criticizing them and you've just done so.
