In the midst of our family life, there's a place within us that no one enters there but God. Even our reflective thinking self can't get in there. We're deep communion with God in silent prayer. He somehow enters into that axis. The stillness gets so subtle that we disappear from our self and reflective consciousness. And then when we return, Teresa of Avila says, we don't know if anything happened in one sense because we weren't there. But we do because we emerged that we're different.
