Antibody Testing in Primary Psychiatric Diseases

The name te aeroceptor and sephalites was discovered in two thousand and seven. The fact that many of these patients initially present with psychosis led some investigators to believe that similar antibodies occur in patients with primary pycatric diseases. We decided to study 105 consecutive patients seen at our institution for first episode psychoces. Patients were comprehensively examined by psychiatryes and by neorologiss; all were tested for neronal antibodies in serum, nd in c s f, and using for different methods,. All tests and all patience were antivoli negative.
