Is There Room on a Movie Like Glass Onion Where the Actors Are So Self-Aware?

In terms of and this isn't even necessarily a specific gist of Glass Onion but just in general in terms of figuring out what each actor needs is that something do you have conversations with the actors before you start shooting them? I think it's much more just kind of diving into the pool and seeing you know and kind of figuring it out because the reality is some actors are very self-aware and will say yes I need you know and this is you should know this about me. Some aren't some think they're self-aware but then you go and set it into different deal It's also if you create an environment where it feels cool on set and it's not like doesn't feel high
