Peter kropotkin was a trained scientist she wrote extensively on the natural sciences and ethics which he saw as the basis for his theory of anarchist communism. Anarchist communism doesn't follow from utopia and idealism as some would claim but rather is logically derived from a clear and objective understanding of the human condition in particular man's ethical nature. Kropotkin says it's not resort to metaphysical conceptions like the natural rights and the duties of the state beginning ofkropotkin's effort towards a unified scientifically founded ethicswas his seminal book mutual aid which entailed an empirical study of the tendency towards cooperation in insect animal and human life.
