There needs to be a philosophical insight here before we can make the scientific, better alone technological progress towards artificial general intelligence. We want to know how knowledge is created, how to find the algorithm for an AGI so to speak. And I just think that maybe these things are all labeling the same problem that the solution to any one of them might be the solution to all. Maybe it will all come together. Time will tell once we have a better way of putting the question rather than just saying what do these words really label because that's not what philosophy is about.
