Is There a Need to Play in the Private Market?

In a rational market, you know, the private markets, you should get a better deal because they're ill liquid. But what happened was that better deal was awesome. You got to be in technology companies early. It's a cabal of only like a few powerful people. So if you're a great public market invester, your like, well, i'm connected. I can do that on the private markets. And so then in 20 21, we got to this crazy point where you were paying a premium to invest in private companies which made no sense. All the people who moved into private probably want to go back to public.
