The Importance of Suficiency of Scripture in the Church

A statement of faith is intended to be a brief summary of those things that we see in the Bible. Why is it crucial to our philosophy of ministry as pastors that we affirm sufficiency of Scripture? Well, because how else will you know what you're giving your time to do? How else will you be directed in your work? You know, there are analogies between the pastors and the prophets and the Old Testament.
