In belly point practice, if what comes up is an intense emotional experience of some kind, we're going back to just being with the point. If it feels too intense, just back off a little bit, right? Just have a little space around it where it's like, ok, i can kind of get next to that sensation. That doesn't mean that we're notable to sit with discomfort. We can sit with discomfort, but if the discomfort is creating new suffering, then that's not af past liberation.
