The Importance of Incitement

CNN's Ana Navarrette says the question of incitement is an important one. She argues that when Donald Trump called a pandemic in China "the China virus," he was inciting people to kill them. He could have been trying to gin up hatred, she said; there are lots of names for diseases like Spanish flu or denial virus.Navarrette: We don't really believe in incitement, but it is a legal category.
