Is There Concentration in Computer Science?

Tech is not exceptional, there's concentration across the board. But there is something exceptional about tech that made it very dynamic over the years. It its advantages of network effects - low switching costs of going from one tech platform to another. The only things that aren't technically feasible for computers are things like calculating pie to the last digit and brute forcing all the possible keys for well encripted sage.
