The GDP of the British Empire in the 1880s was... 60 billion? Is that right? I don't know, for sure. And then I think Apple's annual revenue was twice that or something. So yeah, it makes a little bit of sense just that the economy has grown over time. But it is astounding to think about how big these companies actually are.
