If you don't have this wig-ish view of history then it's less about them being good or bad in and of themselves as part of of the growth and maturity. i think that merchant power is gonna come, he says. The reason we're seeing it's you know bad effects now is that our classes work so hard to continue it beyond its natural life cycle. But eventually it too will pass and the new cycle will begin again and merchant power will transform into something else. He adds: "It's just a mistake to look at any one of these phases"
