Thomas Aquinas says you're not going to derive joy from the sheer fact of their having been condemned forever. why he's saying that seems more the traditional viewpoint well that's my point and peter lombard for example in the in the fourth book of his sentences says the same thing  and actually goes a little farthersame bond of interpasses over it a little bit.
