Scientology and the Watchtower
The abuses that have taken place between the watchtower and Scientology all come down to that same common thread in terms of what a cult is. It's not a question of whether you're going to have a system of ethics, but who gets to set the standard? The Jehovah's Witnesses fall short because they don't really necessarily address the source. This is all revelation from Jehovah, these policies. So when I see this abuse that's happening and the pain that comes from this policy of disfellowship it makes sense.
