When the bell rang and class was over, Paul got up quickly, grabbed his back and then while turning to look back at me rolled up his sleeve and shoved his forearm in my face. I didn't see him much after that aside from the few times when he would be sulking in the black hallways under the stairs with some other goth metal kids. He had fictionalized an entire relationship between us, full of stories and romantic meetings. An unrequited love story that we had both been waiting anxiously to make work one daywhen the timing finally allowed. Now I was being called upon to make his fantasies a reality.
