Sally Kohn: There's no principled way of deciding where these private mental worlds are actually distributed. She says the rug has been pulled out of any kind of ethical enterprise that tries to ground out what matters in these kinds of mental states. Kohn: The notion of the rim, the intrinsic power of the dollar is a sort of illusion, but it's not illusion based on nothing. And so let me tell you my own version of realist view about pain and how we pay for it with our consciousness.
