Are We Genetically Similar to Chimps?

We all want there to be a cosmic authority when some violence or wrong has been done against us or someone we love. But I think part of the impulse though too is that we in the desire to say that everything that can't be explained is immaterial. And if we explain it, then it can't be like you said supernatural or created by somebody else. That just doesn't follow if you really think about it. There are these zombie ideas, these ideas that don't die, that just keep coming back and then they're assumed to kind of be settled.
