How Do Snakes Adapt to Climate Change?

Tibetan hopstring snakes have mutations in genes that can help them make their heart beat more powerfully, or make their blood cells work more efficiently. Sunlight as well is something they have to worry about because basically they're less protected by the atmosphere. So one of the things that sunlight does is it can damage your DNA. These snakes have particularly adept ways of repairing that DNA.
