Paula Paula: I love that you want to work forever, but most retirements are involuntary. Most people are forced to retire earlier than they would prefer to because of a health condition. So there's a lot to be said for removing the option and going all cash. But retirement funds are a form of self-insurance against the possibility that you might not be able to work even if you want to. You have time on your side right now that you won't have when you're 84.
