Job's Final Argument
Job is feeling that and struggling with it. He repeats those cries about social alienation, about physical affliction,. All these areas of life that have been taken from him. And in verse 25, he wonders, why did not i weep for him that was in trouble? Was not my soul grieved for the poor? When i looked for good, then evil came upon me. I had compassion upon people who were suffering. Wilt thou please have compassion upon me? Chapter 31 then proceeds with job's final argument. This is the closing argument of the defence, and then he's going to rest his case.
