The Hymn of the Pearl
There's actually an early Christian document called the hymn of the pearl. In Matthew 13, 47 through 51, Jesus is talking about fishing in verse 47. He says, the kingdom of heaven is likened to a net that was cast into the sea and gathered every kind,. which one it was full. They drew to shore and sat down and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bat away. So shall it be at the end of the world. The angels shall come forth and sever the wicked from among the just.
