Since the Second World War, Britain has not dealt well with city centres. We got it wrong after the Blitz because obviously we were rebuilding on the cheap and coincided with brutalism. I would say city centres are our weakest hand in Britain. What's our strongest hand? The cricket grounds? Yeah,. a bit smaller in comparison if you compare the capacity of the lords or the awful two, the one to live at.
